Nashville, NC – At the October 1, 2018 Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools (NRMPS) Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education approved Monday, October 22, and Wednesday, November 21, 2018 as make-up days for the traditional calendar due to Hurricane Florence. The November 21 date will be an early release day. Therefore, January 2 and June 7 will become optional workdays while June 10 and June 11 will become annual leave days. The make-up days for the traditional calendar will meet our legislative requirements. If any changes occur, we will immediately inform our public.
Due to banked instructional hours, September 13 and September 14, 2018 make-up days will be waived for the Early College and CITI High Schools. Additionally, May 24 and May 28 will become optional workdays while May 29 and May 30 will become annual leave days.
